New York Mini Tummy Tuck

The mini tummy tuck differs from the conventional, more extensive tummy tuck in that there is only a short, horizontal incision placed just above the pubic hairline. This incision placement allows the best possible camouflage.

We remove the section of excess skin, tighten the muscles if needed, and carefully close the incision with buried, self-absorbing sutures, so suture removal is unnecessary. Discomfort is mild and easily controlled with medications.
